It is no secret that there is a talent pool shortage in the energy and construction sector. This shortage affects everyone working in the industry, no matter what role they play. James Morante will share his first-hand experiences in dealing with this challenging topic. Most of the time, the source for new employees is the local career and technical education program. As these programs become more robust, so does the talent that can be drawn from them. The Energy, Construction & Utilities Sector within California's Community Colleges have launched the Community Alliance Initiative, a thoughtful exploration to engage, listen and learn about organization's clients and unique barriers to entry.
